On February 1st, 2023, the Kick-off Meeting for the research project “Timber Use and Maintain – TU&M”, started on January 1st the same year, was held at the Wood Research Institute in Munich. The project aims to develop circular timber frame elements considering their technical, environmental and economic feasibility.
Research institutions and companies from various industrial sectors are developing new approaches to using sustainable materials. The core of the consortium project “Future Sustainable Car Materials” (FSCM) is to develop innovative process routes and material concepts across large parts of the value chain.
Organized by Circularity e.V., a professional network and innovative do tank in the field of Circular Economy, and with the collaboration of Vanessa Heinrich (Professorship Circular Economy), more than 45 company representatives from the entire value chain of the consumer electronics industry came together for two days on January 10-11, 23.
Together with Amundi, the leading European asset manager, and GreenGame, a young consultancy in the field of sustainable sponsoring, Vanessa Heinrich (Chair of Circular Economy) supervised the project studies in the winter semester 2022/23 on the topic of “Tennis and Sustainability”.
