Vita
Vitor Souza is a sustainable systems designer, currently focused on modelling and simulation of urban resource networks in the Resource Circularity Networks (ReCircleNet) project funded by the Eurotechpostdoc2 / MSCA program.
Vitor Souza studied mechanical engineering at the Federal University of Paraná, in Curitiba, Brazil. From 2005 until 2010, he worked in the automotive industry with quality management and product development. In 2013, he was appointed as professor of Mechanical Design at the Federal University of Technology – Paraná, where in 2014 he implemented the Academic Department of Mechanics.
Vitor Souza received his PhD in 2019 for a thesis on regenerative supply networks design. During his PhD, he spent one year based in The Netherlands, working in the Operations Research & Logistics Group of Wageningen University and Research, under the supervision of Prof. Bloemhof.
