At a benefit concert by PhD students from the TUM Campus Straubing Svenja Klose and Sarah Hasslacher in front of over 100 guests in the Nawareum entitled “Classical meets Pop”, 1006.51 euros were raised. The two musicians presented the donations to Maria Stauber, chairwoman of the local child protection association (CPA), on Tuesday. “We wanted to donate regionally and for children,” said Svenja Klose. “The money is well invested in the child protection association,” confirmed Sarah Hasslacher. “It was a great concert, I got a lot of positive feedback,” said CPA Managing Director Tanja Schütz, praising the two musicians, for whom it was a premiere. They have only been playing together as the CE-Dur group since April and the third musician, Dominik Reichert, was unable to perform due to illness. Tanja Schütz expressed her thanks that the money would be used to support children and young people in need from the city and district during the year.
