TUM São Paulo: First TUM Global Dialogue on Bioeconomy in Latin America
The TUM Liaison Office São Paulo brought the year 2020 to a close with a successful event on the hot topic of bioeconomy in Latin America. Together with professors from TUM and its partners from Colombia and Brazil, the online event brought around 100 participants closer to the topic and built bridges to local value chains and TUM projects in Latin America.

The reason for the meeting was a planned cooperation between Imperial College and TUM in the field of Circular Economy.
TUM Brussels: EuroTech scientists launch cooperation in the area of circular economy
The joint Brussels Office of the EuroTech Universities Alliance regularly facilitates the establishment of competitive consortia for funding instruments within the European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (Horizon 2020). On November 15, a successful workshop on EU funding possibilities and joint activities in the area of Circular Economy took place, engaging multiple EuroTech partners.
School camp at TUM Campus Straubing
As part of the school camp “Technology meets Environment” organized by the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft, a group of 14 pupils arrived at the TUM Campus Straubing on 28th October 2019. They came from all over Bavaria to learn more about sustainability in the field of technology and possible study options here in Straubing. After a guided tour of the campus, which revealed many interesting facts about the development of the location, the study coordinator Dr. Höldrich presented the various study courses in Straubing. This part of the visit was rounded off by a Q&A session with representatives of the student council on topics related to student life in Straubing.
