Thanks to the excellent organization and preparation by the French project partners at CNRS, all participants arrived smoothly.
The meeting began with a traditional French breakfast, followed by presentations from each work package that showcased their current progress and outlined activities planned for the coming year. During the subsequent lunch, participants had the opportunity to recharge and continue their discussions in an informal setting.
A special highlight awaited the group in the afternoon: a joint boat trip took them to an island off the coast of Marseille. After a short hike, the participants reached a picturesque beach, which, despite the autumn water temperatures, invited everyone to relax. Many even took the chance to dive into the refreshing Mediterranean Sea.
In the evening, the group gathered for a traditional French fish dinner, rounding off the day in a convivial atmosphere.
The second day began with a scientific symposium, during which professors presented their research related to ECOMO. This was followed by an interactive workshop that deepened the participants’ understanding of Life Cycle Assessment and economic evaluation. A final joint lunch concluded the meeting, leaving everyone with new inspiration and strengthened collaboration.
